KEC International shares jump 5% on bagging orders worth ₹1,030 crore across various businesses

KEC International shares gained as much as 5% to touch an intraday high of ₹366.40 apiece on Friday, October 9, after the company bagged new orders across various businesses.

In the transmission and distribution (T&D) business, KEC secured an order for a 400 kV transmission line in Bhutan, an additional order for a 380 kV transmission line in Saudi Arabia, and orders for the supply of towers, hardware and poles in the Americas.

In the renewables segment, the company secured an order for a 300+ MW wind project from a renowned private developer in Southern India.

Lastly, the cables and conductors have also bagged various orders in India and the overseas market, the company said.

The EPC player in a regulatory filing said that the total worth of all the orders is ₹1,030 crore. With the current orders, KEC International’s year-to-date (YTD) order intake stands at over ₹8,600 crore.

“We are pleased with the order wins across our businesses. The T&D business has significantly strengthened its order book with multiple wins, including its re-entry into Bhutan, further diversifying its international footprint. In Renewables, the business continues to gain momentum in the Wind EPC segment, securing a large order from a reputed private developer, adding a marquee client to its portfolio,” said Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International.

KEC International is a global infrastructure engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) major. It has a presence in the verticals of power transmission & distribution, civil, transportation, renewables, oil & gas pipelines, and cables & conductors.

The company says it has a footprint in over 110 countries (including EPC and supply of towers and cables). It is the flagship company of the RPG Group.

At 11:04 PM, KEC International shares were trading at ₹353.7 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, rising 1.17%.

Shares of the firm have fallen 10% over a month, while they have slumped 39% in the past six months. From the beginning of the year, shares of KEC International have declined over 52%.

Shares of the company had touched their one-year high of ₹893 apiece on October 14, 2025, while their 52-week low of ₹348 was hit on October 8, 2026.

According to NSE data, as of October 9, 2026, KEC International has a total market capitalisation of over ₹9,422.15 crore.
