Just Dial informed the stock exchanges in a filing on July 18 that in Q1FY25, the company’s net profit grew 69% year-on-year to ₹141.2 crore compared to ₹83.4 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY24. Just Dial’s net profit grew 22% sequentially from ₹115.6 crore in the March quarter of FY24.
The company’s operating revenue for the quarter ended June 30, 2024, grew over 13% to ₹280.6 crore compared to ₹247 crore in the same quarter a year ago. Sequentially, the company’s operating revenue increased nearly 4% to ₹270.3 crore in the quarter ended March 31, FY24.
The local search engine’s total active listings at the end of Q1FY25 increased 18.2% to 44.9 million on a year-on-year basis from 38 million in the June quarter of FY24. Sequentially, the company’s total active listings increased 3.2% from 43.6 million in Q4FY24.
Just Dial’s Total Traffic (Unique Visitors) for Q1FY25 stood at 181.3 million, surging 5.7% YoY and 6% QoQ.
The company's operating earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) increased over 119% to ₹80.6 crore in Q1FY25 compared to ₹36.7 crore in Q1FY24. The company’s EBITDA in the June quarter increased over 14% QoQ against ₹70.6 crore in Q4FY24.
The company’s operating EBITDA margin in Q1FY25 grew by 1,389 basis points (bps) to 28.7% compared to 14.9% in Q1FY24. Just Dial’s EBITDA margin in Q1FY25 surged 261 bps from 26.1% in Q4FY24.
