Infosys share price rises after partnership with Formula E

Infosys share price: Shares of information technology (IT) and consulting giant Infosys climbed on Tuesday, April 2, after the company announced the launch of the Formula E Stats Center, in partnership with the world’s first all-electric FIA World Championship Formula E.

Infosys Topaz, an artificial intelligence (AI)-first offering using generative AI technologies, powers Stats Center, which will improve fan engagement by providing advanced data-driven insights.

The stock settled 1.54% higher at ₹1,550 per share on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Intraday, it rose as much as 1.9% to ₹1,555.65 apiece.

Its market capitalisation stood at ₹6,43,755.84 crore.

The Stats Center will provide fans with access to stellar performances of teams and drivers, their key milestones, and their insights. It will make the complex data easy to understand, fostering a deeper connection between the sport and fans.

Jeff Dodds, chief executive officer (CEO) of Formula E, said, "As our first technical partnership with Infosys, we are showcasing how innovation and technology can elevate the experience for everyone who loves Formula E by making race data more accessible and easier to understand. Fans will be able to follow their favourite driver and team with in-depth insights and track their performance over the seasons ahead."

Sumit Virmani, EVP and global chief marketing officer of Infosys, said that the Stats Center, which is AI-powered, transforms raw data into compelling narratives.

"From dynamic stat cards that adapt to the race timeline to an AI companion that prompts engaging questions, we're supercharging the Formula E fan experience, making its rich history, and exciting present more accessible and engaging, ultimately raising the bar for digital fan engagement," he added.
