Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) has declared an interim dividend of ₹5 per equity share for the financial year 2025-26, amounting to 50% of the face value of ₹10 per share. The announcement was made on Wednesday, October 29, after the company announced its second-quarter earnings for FY26.

The company has fixed November 6, 2025, as the ex-dividend date. Since equity markets will remain closed on November 5 on account of Guru Nanak Gurpurab, shareholders seeking eligibility for the dividend must complete their share purchases by Tuesday, November 4.

HPCL said the declaration of the interim dividend was made in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

State-run refiner Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) on Wednesday, October 29 reported a sharp increase in its second-quarter profit, supported by improved refining margins.

The company’s standalone net profit surged over six times to ₹3,830 crore for the quarter ended September.

HPCL’s gross refining margin (GRM), the profit earned from converting one barrel of crude oil into refined products stood at $8.80 per barrel during the quarter, compared with $3.12 per barrel in the same period last year.
