The Indian equity benchmarks came off intraday lows in noon deals on Tuesday, September 29, but continue to trade in the negative zone. The SENSEX fell as much as 707 points and NIFTY50 index hit an intraday low of 22,569.65.

As of 1:07 pm, the SENSEX was down 414 points at 72,357 and NIFTY50 index dropped 118 points to 22,661 dragged down by weakness in index heavyweights like HDFC Bank, Infosys, Eternal, Bajaj Finance, Titan and Reliance Industries.

Here are shares witnessing higher than usual trading activity:
Honasa Consumer: Shares of Mamaearth operator dropped as much as 4.88% to an intraday low of ₹443.70 after CNBC TV18 reported that a large transaction took place in the stock after market opening.

A total of 1.14 crore shares representing 4.4% equity changed hands in morning deals.

Trading volume in the stock jumped 25 times to 1.94 crore shares compared with an average volume of 7.64 lakh shares on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

As many as 8.54 lakh shares changed hands on the BSE compared with an average of 43,000 shares traded daily in the past two weeks.

EIH: Shares of the operator of Oberoi Hotels advanced as much as 4.64% to an intraday high of ₹308.90, in an otherwise weak session.

Trading volume jumped 15 times to 16.94 lakh shares compared with an average volume of 1.12 lakh shares.

NCC: NCC shares rose 5.4% to an intraday high of ₹137 after the company secured a letter of award (LoA) from the government of Andhra Pradesh for supply of fresh water.

Worth ₹1,076.71 crore (excluding GST), the order for supplying drinking water supply was bagged under the Multi Village Scheme on Yeleru Reservoir for Anakapalli Segment in Anakapalli District in Andhra Pradesh, according to a regulatory filing dated September 28.

NCC Ltd accepted the LoA on September 26 from the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Department, Visakhapatnam, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Trading volume in NCC shares spiked by 12.5 times to 2.22 crore shares compared with an average volume of 17.7 lakh shares.

Travel Food Services: Shares of the restaurant chain operator advanced 1.15 to ₹1,221 amid spik in volumes.

Trading volume on the NSE jumped 4.9 times to 1.33 lakh shares compared with its average volume of 27,459 shares.

Eris Lifesciences: Shares of the drug maker rose 2.75% to an intraday high of ₹1,270, mirroring gains in other drugmakers.

Trading volume spiked by 4.5 times to 1.85 lakh shares compare with an average volume of 41,090 shares on the NSE.
