HDFC AMC share price: Shares of HDFC Asset Management Company (HDFC AMC) surged as much as 2.96% to a record high of ₹5,934.50 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Thursday, October 16, a day after reporting its second quarter results for the 2025-26 financial year (Q2FY26). It also announced its first-ever bonus issue along with the earnings.

Shares of HDFC AMC were trading 1.15% higher at ₹5,830.50 per equity share, as of 11:59 am.

The stock rose 6.56% in the July-September period, outperforming the NIFTY50 index, which fell 3.55%.

The scrip hit a 52-week low of ₹3,563.05 per equity share on February 12, 2025.

HDFC AMC has a total market capitalisation of ₹1.25 lakh crore, as of October 16, 2025, according to data on the NSE.

HDFC AMC Q2 results

The asset management firm posted a 24% year-on-year (YoY) increase in its net profit to ₹718 crore during the quarter under review, compared to ₹577 crore in the September quarter of the previous fiscal year, it said in a regulatory filing dated Wednesday.

The Mumbai-headquartered company’s revenue from operations grew by 16% YoY to ₹1,026 crore in the quarter ended September 2025, as against ₹887 crore in the same quarter of FY25.

The company's total expenses stood at ₹246 crore during the quarter, marking a jump of 24% YoY from ₹199 crore in Q2FY25.

HDFC AMC, investment manager to HDFC Mutual Fund, said its Average Assets Under Management (AAUM) rose to ₹8.81 lakh crore for Q2FY26, from ₹7.58 lakh crore in the September quarter of FY25.

During the period ended September 30, 2025, the Company paid a final dividend of 90 per equity share (face value of ₹5 each) for the year ended March 31, 2025, as approved by its shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held on June 25, 2025.

Board approves first-ever bonus share

The company's board of directors also approved the issuance of bonus shares in a 1:1 ratio. This means that shareholders, as on the record date, will receive one bonus share for every share held.

The company fixed Wednesday, November 26, 2025, as the record date for determining the entitlement of the members of the company to receive bonus equity shares.

The bonus share, however, is “subject to approval of the members of the company to be obtained through Postal Ballot and statutory and regulatory approvals, as applicable.”

The company is in the business of providing asset management services to HDFC Mutual Fund & alternative investment funds and portfolio management & advisory services to clients.
