HCL Technolgies shares trade near 52-week high levels at ₹1,810 apiece

HCL Technologies’ software business division – HCLSoftware, has completed the acquisition of Zeenea, an innovator in data catalog and governance solutions based in Paris, France. HCLSoftware will enhance its Data & Analytics business (Actian) through this acquisition.

HCLSoftware Actian Data Platform has seen strong growth in Hybrid Data Management and Integration over the last few years. Adding metadata management, data catalog and governance capabilities will enable customers to consume these capabilities of the data platform.

Zeenea provides an intelligent data discovery platform that supports metadata management applications from search and exploration to data catalog, lineage, governance, compliance and enterprise data marketplace. Zeenea is powered by an adaptive knowledge graph that enables organizations to democratize data access and generate a 360-degree view of their assets and the relationships between them. The enterprise valuation was adjusted to EUR 23.9 million.

HCL Technologies also announced agreement with Xerox to extend its strategic AI-driven Engineering services and Digital Process Operations (DPO) to the company. HCL Technologies is a leading global IT services company that helps global enterprises reimagine and transform their businesses through digital technology transformation.

Shares of HCL Technologies are trading positive with 0.2% gains at ₹1,810 apiece on the NSE. The IT major has given 22% returns in 2024 led by optimism around robust margins and improved scenario in key business areas of US and Europe.
