HAL declares final dividend of ₹15 per share for FY25, sets record date; check details

Defence firm Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd’s (HAL) board of directors on Friday, June 27, recommended a final dividend of ₹15 per share for the 2024-25 financial year.

The final dividend of ₹15 per equity share of ₹5 each fully paid-up (at 300%) will be subject to shareholder approval at the ensuing annual general meeting (AGM), HAL said in a regulatory filing.

“The final dividend shall be paid to the eligible shareholders within 30 days from the date of its approval in the AGM,” the PSU stated.

Furthermore, the aerospace company has fixed August 21, 2025, as the record date of the final dividend.

On Friday, the Maharatna firm’s board also appointed M/s Murthy & Co. LLP, Cost and Management accountants, as the company’s cost auditors for the 2025-26 financial year.

HAL secures transfer of technology for ISRO tech

Last week, the defence company said it emerged as the top bidder for the manufacture and design of ISRO's small satellite launch vehicle (SSLV), becoming the first Indian company to receive a complete technology transfer of a satellite launch vehicle. The ToT will cost HAL ₹511 crore.

Fourth quarter earnings

The PSU reported a 7.7% year-on-year (YoY) decline in its consolidated net profit to ₹3,976.66 crore in the March quarter of FY25, compared to ₹4,308.71 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Its revenue from operations fell by 7.2% YoY to ₹13,699.85 crore in the quarter under review, as against ₹14,768.75 crore in the March FY24 quarter.

HAL stock performance

Shares of HAL closed at ₹4,894.7, up 1.61% on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Friday.

The stock has been in the spotlight, losing 1.51% over the week and 1.53% since the beginning of June. It has risen 17.25% so far in this quarter and 17.22% on a year-to-date basis.

It reached a year’s high of ₹3,046.05 per equity share on March 3, 2025, and a low of ₹5,674.75 on July 9, 2024.
