At 12:37 PM, the S&P BSE SENSEX was trading at 81,304.71 levels, down 204 points, or 0.25%, while the broader NIFTY50 index was trading at 24,547.60, down 71 points, or 0.29%.

Greaves Cotton: Shares of Greaves Cotton jumped 18% to hit a 52-week high of ₹252 apiece on the BSE, as ace investor Vijay Kedia acquired 12 lakh shares, or 0.52% stake in the company, through a block deal.
A deal worth ₹25 crore, this transaction could be the first time the market veteran has taken a bet on the company, added a news report.
Raymond Ltd: Shares of
Raymond Ltd gained as much as 12.48% to hit a high of ₹1,813.55 apiece on the BSE.
For the September 2024 quarter, Raymond Ltd, which is in the real estate and engineering business, reported a 63% decline in consolidated net profit to ₹59.01 crore in the second quarter of this fiscal.
Its net profit stood at ₹161.16 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income rose to ₹1,100.70 crore during the July-September period of this fiscal year from ₹512.35 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Varroc Engineering: The stock was trading around 11% higher at ₹593.20 on the BSE.
The auto components maker had reported a 4% growth in profit after tax (PAT) at ₹57.80 crore in the September quarter. The company had posted a consolidated PAT of ₹55.72 crore in the year-ago period, the company said.
Consolidated revenue from operations for the quarter grew 10.28% to ₹2,080.8 crore from ₹1,886.8 crore in the July-September period of the previous fiscal year, it said.
Ahluwalia Contracts: The stock was trading nearly 8% higher at ₹1,149 on the BSE.
Suzlon Energy: The company, in its press release, said that Suzlon and Jindal Renewables have expanded their partnership with an additional 302.4 MW wind project to accelerate India’s green steel production.
The stock was trading 1.62% lower at ₹66.22 on the BSE.
Clean Science and Technology: The stock was trading 6.22% higher at ₹1,368.90 on the BSE.
HEG Ltd: Shares of HEG Ltd were trading 4.64% lower at ₹570.75 apiece on the BSE. The stock has rallied 14% in one week.
CE Info Systems: The stock of MapMyIndia owner was trading 5% lower at ₹1,815 on the BSE. The stock price fell after the board of the company said it has scrapped plans to invest in a company being set up by its outgoing CEO after receiving investor feedback.
Religare Enterprises: Shares of
Religare Enterprises jumped as much as 9.6% to hit a 52-week high of ₹304.30 apiece on the BSE on Tuesday, December 10, amid reports that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved the plan of the Burman family to make an open offer for an additional 26% stake in the company.
This paves the way for a possible resolution of the tussle for control over the non-banking finance company (NBFC).

Swiggy: Shares of food and grocery delivery platform Swiggy Ltd jumped nearly 6% on Tuesday, December 10, after investment group CSLA backed the stock.
Last week,
Swiggy reported a narrowing of consolidated post-tax loss to ₹625.53 crore for the second quarter ended September 2024. In the year-ago period, the company had posted a net loss of ₹657 crore.
The online food aggregator, in an exchange filing, said that it expects to achieve "positive adjusted EBITDA (Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation) by the third quarter of FY26.".
ITI Ltd: Shares of ITI Ltd were trading over 6% higher at ₹391.50 apiece on the BSE. The stock has been on a rising spree and has gained 36.31% in the past one week.
