At around 10:08 AM, the stock was trading 2.02% higher at ₹108.81 per equity share. The scrip touched a year’s low of ₹79.92 apiece on June 13, 2025.

The share has gained 6% in the past week and 13% over the month. On a year-to-date basis, it has advanced 3%.

According to a regulatory filing, the company reported a 6.1% year-on-year (YoY) surge in its total passenger traffic to 10.63 million passengers in May 2026 across all its portfolio airports.

More specifically, its domestic traffic jumped 7.9% YoY to 8.3 million passengers, and its international traffic rose 0.4% YoY to 2.4 million passengers during the month under review.

However, its international passenger traffic was impacted by the ongoing geopolitical instability in the Middle East since February 28, 2026.

GMR Airports has sustained monthly traffic at approximately 10 million passengers since October 2025, it said.

In the year-to-date (YTD) 2026-27 financial year (FY27) period, the company’s total passenger traffic crossed the 20.4 million passengers mark, marking a 0.5% YoY increase.

It recorded the highest-ever domestic passenger traffic in the YTD FY27 period at 10.3 million, up by 9.9% YoY.

However, its international passenger traffic fell by 1.1% YoY to 3.5 million passengers, as per the filing.

The Delhi airport handled the highest-ever passengers both in May and YTD. Furthermore, it is connected to 161 destinations worldwide, at the highest level, with domestic at 89 and international at 72. Its passenger traffic has consistently remained at about 7 million passengers since November 2025.

The Hyderabad airport handled 0.4 million passengers in May and 0.79 million passengers in the YTD FY27 period, marking a 0.8% YoY decline and 2.5% YoY jump, respectively. In the Hyderabad airport, the temporary disruptions in flight operations were caused by industry-wide applicable factors arising from the current ongoing macro-economic situation, which impacted the domestic traffic.
