Genesys International launches AI navigation map for auto and mobility industries, expects new revenue stream

Genesys International said it has launched five innovative products including Navigation with Augmented Reality (AR), Navigation with GPT AI Solution, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA), an Online Marketplace, and Usage-Based Insurance (UBI). The firm expects to enhance the driving experience and open new revenue streams for itself and its partners by leveraging the technological solution.

The company reported that the Navigation with AR feature integrates real-time data from the vehicle’s dashcam and cameras to guide drivers intuitively. Additionally, the Navigation with GPT AI Solution aids in AI-powered route planning, allowing real-time adjustments and voice-activated assistance.

Genesys said the ADAS with ISA ensures compliance with the Euro NCAP standards and incorporates advanced features like lane departure warning and traffic sign recognition to enhance driving safety and comfort. Furthermore, the company has also included an online marketplace which will allow users to purchase products and services directly from their vehicles, opening up a new revenue stream for the firm.

Sajid Malik, chief managing director of Genesys International stated the newly launched AI-powered map will play a major role in the transition to autonomous and electric vehicles.

“These technologies will alert drivers to speed limits, recognize traffic signs, assist with lane-keeping, and offer adaptive cruise control. Our 3D Digital Twin shall allow us to produce HD maps that detail every aspect of the road environment, from elevation and road curvatures to lane markings and road signs,” he said.

Shares of the company have risen by nearly 42% since the beginning of the year. The stock has gained over 92% in the last one year.
