G R Infraprojects shares rise 4% on receiving ₹1,897 crore railway line project in Madhya Pradesh

G R Infraprojects share price: Shares of G R Infraprojects advanced as much as 4.17% to an intraday high of ₹1,020 per unit on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Wednesday, February 18, as it received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from West Central Railway for an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) project worth ₹1,897.51 crore.

As of 10:18 am, the stock was trading 1.60% higher at ₹992.35 apiece.

The scrip has gained 2% in the past week and 8% over the month. On a year-to-date basis, it has fallen 1%.

The share hit a 52-week low of ₹896.05 on January 21, 2026, and a year’s high of ₹1,444.40 per unit on June 10, 2025.

In a regulatory filing on Tuesday, the company said that the contract is for the construction of a new railway line between Bahari and Gondawali stations.

Under the contract, G R Infraproject will be responsible for “earthwork, minor bridges, major bridges, important bridges, viaduct, ROB (RCC Box Type), RUB/LHS, station building, tunnels, track work and other miscellaneous works in connection with the Sidhi- Singrauli new Rail link project in the state of Madhya Pradesh.”

The project is expected to be completed in 900 days from the date of appointment, the Udaipur-based firm stated.

G R Infraprojects Q3 results

The company posted a 7.8% year-on-year (YoY) rise in its net profit to ₹261.7 crore for the third quarter of the 2025-26 financial year (Q3FY26), compared to ₹242.7 crore in the year-ago period.

Its revenue from operations declined 20.6% YoY to ₹1,694.5 crore during the quarter under review, as against ₹2,134 crore in the December quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal year (Q3FY25).
