Dilip Buildcon share price jumps over 5% on ₹3,400 crore order win from ARTL

Shares of Dilip buildcon jumped over 5% in the morning session on Friday after the company announced a significant order win from Adani Road Transport Ltd. The shares hit an intraday high of ₹491 apiece on the NSE at 11:15 am on Friday morning.

The company informed through exchange filing, about the significant order win worth ₹3,400 crore for EPC project on back-to-back basis. The exchange filing read, “The company has received a letter of award (LOA) from Adani Road Transport Limited (ARTL) on back-to-back basis for “Construction of Ganga Path connecting Sultanganj-Bhagalpur- Sabour Road on EPC Mode." Scope of work includes design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of the project. The project is expected to be completed in 42 months from the date of commencement.

As of YTD FY26, the company’s total order book stood at ₹5,665 crore, spanning through different entities. Additionally, the company also completed orders worth ₹2,422 crore during the same period.

Previously, the company has also been selected as the successful bidder by Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam (MPUVNL) for a total capacity of 1363.55 MW AC under the Non-DCR category for which the company shall secure an EPC business opportunity valued at approximately ₹4900 crores (excluding GST) to be executed over the next 18 months.

The company has delivered muted returns of 3.4% in 2025 on a YTD basis, owing to subdued earnings growth throughout the FY26 earnings. In Q2FY26, the company’s total revenue dropped 22% YoY and consequently, the net profit also dropped 20% for the same period.
