Ceigall India shares soar 5% on bagging ₹705 crore EPC order from MoRTH in Arunanchal Pradesh

Ceigall India share price: The stock of infrastructure development Ceigall India surged as much as 5.14% to hit an intraday high of ₹338.70 per unit on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Tuesday, August 25, as it bagged an order worth ₹704.70 crore from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) in Arunachal Pradesh.

At around 11:06 AM, the scrip was trading 1.27% higher at ₹326.25 per equity share. The stock has advanced more than 5% in the past week but lost 3%. On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, it has jumped 20%.

While the shares hit a 52-week high of ₹405.70 apiece on June 30, 2026, they touched a year’s low of ₹222.61 on December 9, 2025.

According to a regulatory filing, the company said that it received a letter of award (LoA) from MoRTH for the construction of a key section of the Lada-Sarli section of NH-913 (Frontier Highway) in Arunachal Pradesh.

The project will be executed jointly with Sushee Infra & Mining Limited (SIML), with Ceigall India holding a 74% share and SIML holding a 26% share in the joint venture.

The project involves the construction of the road from 85.60 km to 168 km of the Lada-Sarli section of NH-913 (Frontier Highway) to intermediate lane standard, and will be undertaken on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode.

The project, with a contract value of ₹704.70 crore, excluding GST, carrying a 48-month construction period, followed by a five-year maintenance period.

Recent order wins

Recently, Ceigall has secured various orders for different sections of NH-913 from the MoRTH. In a separate filing dated August 18, the company’s joint venture (JV) with Rajinder Infrastructure Private Ltd secured an order worth ₹274.08 crore in Arunachal Pradesh.

The JV, in which Ceigall holds a 70% stake, was awarded the EPC package for the construction of the 17.81 km to 55.38 km of the Bile-Migging section of the National Highway (NH)-913, to intermediate lane standards.

This follows four letters of award (LOAs) received by the company's joint venture with Sushee Infra Mining Limited, in which Ceigall holds a 74% stake, for the construction of intermediate lane roads across the Huri-Taliha and Sarli-Huri sections of NH-913, with an aggregate bid cost of ₹2,149.62 crore.

Those four packages carry construction periods of 36 to 48 months, each followed by a five-year maintenance period, it stated.

Ceigall India Q1 performance

The company reported a 35% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit to ₹75 crore in the June quarter of the 2026-27 financial year (Q1 FY27), up from ₹56 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal year.

Revenue from operations also rose 10.2% YoY to ₹901.5 crore during the quarter under review, up from ₹818.3 crore in the first quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year (Q1 FY26).
