Capri Global Capital shares fall after launching ₹500 crore public NCD issue; check dates, coupon details

Capri Global Capital (CGCL) shares were trading lower on Thursday, April 9, after the company announced Tranche I of the public issue of secured, rated, listed, redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs).

The total amount of NCD aggregates up to ₹500 crore, comprising a base issue size of ₹100 crore with a green shoe option of ₹400 crore (Tranche I Issue).

The issue with a coupon rate of up to 9.50% per annum will open on April 15, 2026, and end on April 28, 2026.

The NCD issue offers investors multiple tenure options of 24 months, 36 months, 60 months and 120 months, with monthly and annual interest payout choices and coupon rates of up to 9.50% per annum.

“At least 75% of the funds raised through the issue will be used for the purpose of onwards lending, financing, and repayment of interest and principal of existing borrowings of the Company,” CGCL said in a regulatory filing. Further, the balance will be utilised for general corporate purposes, “subject to such utilisation not exceeding 25% of the amount raised and allotted in the Tranche I Issue", the firm added.

CGCL further said that the allotment of the issue will be on a first-come, first-served basis and a proportionate allotment post-oversubscription.

Capri Global Capital share price

At 1:35 PM, Capri Global Capital shares were trading at ₹178.43 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, falling 0.39%. The stock had touched an intraday low of ₹176.53 apiece so far on Thursday.

Over a month’s time, the stock has gained 15%, while it has tumbled 6% in the last six months. From the beginning of the year, Capri Global Capital has fallen 4%.

Shares of the firm had hit a 52-week high of ₹214 on October 30, 2025, and a 52-week low of ₹150.51 on June 4, 2025.

The bank has a total market capitalisation of ₹17,173.49 crore, according to data on the NSE.

Capri Global Capital Limited is a listed non-banking financial company with an AUM of ₹30,406.46 crore as of December 31, 2025, on a consolidated basis. It has a customer base of 626,161 through 13,066 employees and 1,331 branches as of December 31, 2025.
