A block deal is a stock purchase or sale transaction which holds a minimum value of ₹10 crore per trade in a single trading session, while a bulk deal is a buy or sell transaction where investors deal with more than 0.5% outstanding shares of any particular stock in a single day.

Although block and bulk deals are too big for retail investors to invest in due to the size and volume of the transactions, they should check the details about these transactions ahead of the market opening bell on April 9.
