Brigade Enterprises shares soar 2% on signing ₹1,200 crore GDV residential development project, slip into red later

Brigade Enterprises share price: Shares of Brigade Enterprises advanced 2% to an intra-day high of ₹943.10 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Tuesday, September 23.

However, the stock was trading in the negative territory, down 0.44%, at around 1:36 pm.

This follows the realtor signing a joint development agreement to develop a residential project in South Bengaluru with a gross development value (GDV) of ₹1,200 crore, it said in a regulatory filing on Monday.

The project, spread across 7.5 acres in Banashankari, will feature premium apartments tailored for homebuyers, along with proximity to key infrastructure, educational institutions, and commercial hubs.

Commenting on the project, Pavitra Shankar, Managing Director, Brigade Enterprises, said: “Banashankari represents a unique blend of heritage and connectivity, supported by social and physical infrastructure, making it ideal for quality residential development. With Bengaluru evolving, we remain dedicated to delivering thoughtfully designed homes that not only elevate urban living but also contribute meaningfully to the city’s growth and economic landscape.”

In a separate regulatory filing last week, the realty company revealed that Shruti Pai, Creative Director at Manipal Education and Medical Group International India, invested ₹126 crore in Brigade Twin Towers located in North-West Bengaluru.

Brigade Enterprises' share performance

The stock has lost 4.88% over the week and 19.66% over three months. It has declined 4.97% over a period of six months. On a year-to-date basis, it has slipped 25.62%.

While the scrip reached a year’s low of ₹852 on April 7, 2025, it touched a 52-week high of ₹1,448.70 per equity share almost a year ago on September 27, 2024.

Brigade Enterprises has a total market capitalisation of ₹22,600.01 crore, as of September 23, 2025, according to data on the NSE.

Brigade Enterprises Q1 results

The real estate development company reported a 79% year-on-year (YoY) surge in its consolidated net profit to ₹149.88 crore in the June quarter of FY26, compared to ₹83.72 crore in the year-ago period.

Its revenue from operations stood at ₹1,281 crore during the quarter under review, marking an 18.9% YoY jump from ₹1,077 crore in the first quarter of FY25.
