Bharti Airtel: Shares of Bharti Airtel gained as much as 4.3% to ₹1,680.15 apiece on the NSE. In November, Bharti Airtel's promoter, Bharti Telecom, purchased around 1.2% of the shares of the company from the Bharti family's investment firm, Indian Continent Investment Limited.
Zomato: Zomato shares were trading over 1% higher at ₹288.10 apiece on the BSE despite the company receiving the tax notice. 

The food delivery aggregator on Thursday said the GST department in Thane has imposed a tax demand of ₹803.4 crore, including interest and penalty. The demand order has been received in respect of non-payment of GST on delivery charges with interest and penalty thereon, Zomato said in a regulatory filing.

The company said it will file an appeal before the appropriate authority as it believes it has a strong case.

Metal stocks: Shares of metal companies were trading with significant losses in the trade. The NIFTY METAL index was trading over 1% lower at 9,394.10 levels. 

14 out of 15 constituents of the metal index traded in the red. 

SAIL shares were down nearly 4%, while NMDC stock was trading over 3% lower. Hindustan Copper shares were trading over 2% lower at ₹284.80 apiece on the BSE.
CRISIL: The stock hit a 52-week high of ₹5,788.80 on the NSE. Last seen, shares were trading at ₹5,727.80 apiece, up 3.64%. 

The stock rallied as the company said its board of directors has approved an investment in the equity capital of Online PSB Loans of an amount of ₹33.25 crore to acquire a 4.08% stake in it, on a post-money, fully diluted basis.

Bajel Projects: Shares of Bajel Projects were trading 14.31% higher at ₹280 apiece on the NSE as the company informed exchanges that it has been awarded a supply of goods and services contract by M/s Solapur Transmission Limited (Project SPV Company of Torrent Power Ltd).
Jubilant FoodWorks: Shares of the company rallied 2.82% to ₹691 apiece on the NSE after the company issued a clarification around the development that the Jubilant Bhartia Group will acquire a 40% equity interest in Hindustan CocaCola Holdings Private Limited, India (‘HCCH’), through its entity Jubilant Beverages Limited.

In the previous session, the stock dropped up to 4% following the news.

Jubilant FoodWorks said that since the company is not part of the proposed acquisition announcement, hence, no disclosure is required to be made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 (“Listing Regulations”). READ MORE
