State-owned defence equipment manufacturer Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) reported its second order win in two days on Thursday, June 5.

The Navratna PSU revealed it has secured orders totaling ₹2,323 crore from defence PSUs Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders and Garden Reach Shipbuilders.

“Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), has received orders from MDL, Mumbai and GRSE, Kolkata totally valued at ₹2,323 crore (excluding taxes) for supply of base and depot spares for the missile systems on Indian Naval ships. The spares will ensure operational continuity of onboard mission critical equipment,” the company said in an exchange filing.

The company on Wednesday, June 4, received orders worth ₹537 crore. According to the company’s exchange filing, Wednesday’s order includes supply of communication equipment, an advanced composite communication system for ships, jammers, software, simulator upgrades, spares, test rigs, services, and more.

In a statement, BEL disclosed that today’s orders include supply of Integrated Drone Detection and Interdiction System (IDDIS), Software Defined Radio (SDR), Data Communication Unit (DCU) for attack guns, AI-based ship solutions, simulators, communication gear, jammers, spares, services, and more.

Since the beginning of the financial year 2026, BEL has secured orders worth over ₹6,200 crore, amounting to nearly 25% of its full-year target of ₹27,000 crore. The company had indicated that the total order inflow for the year could exceed ₹57,000 crore if it succeeds in obtaining the Quick Reaction Surface To Air Missiles (QRSAM) orders.

BEL Q4 results:

Bharat Electronics reported a net profit of ₹2,127 crore for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2024-25 (Q4 FY25), marking an increase of 18% from ₹1,797 crore logged during the same period last year. Its revenue from operations rose 7% to ₹9,150 crore as against ₹8,564 crore seen in the year-ago period.

The company’s Profit after tax (PAT) during FY 2024-25 stood at ₹5,288.25 crore, with a growth of 31.55% over the PAT of ₹4,020 crore recorded during the previous year.

The Navratna Defence PSU achieved a turnover of ₹23,024.10 crore, registering a growth of 16.17% during FY2024-25 over the turnover of ₹19,819.93 crore recorded during the previous year.

During Q4, BEL achieved a turnover of ₹8,850.42 crore as against ₹8,335.01 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year. The company’s board has also recommended a dividend of 90 paise per share.
