Defence PSU Bharat Dynamics Ltd (BDL) on Wednesday, March 26, inked a pact worth ₹4,362.23 crore with the Ministry of Defence.

Shares of Bharat Dynamics stood at ₹1,336.25 apiece, up 1.58% as of 2:20 pm on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Wednesday.
BDL stock surged 3.20% to hit its intraday high of ₹1,357.70 on the NSE.
The scrip rose 16.68% over the last week and 37.94% on a month-to-date basis. BDL shares have surged 19.74% since the beginning of the year.
The mini Ratna company reached its 52-week peak of ₹1,794.70 apiece on July 5, 2024, and a low of ₹836.50 exactly a year ago on March 26, 2024.
Bharat Dynamics reported a 9% year-on-year (YoY) increase in its net profit at ₹147.12 crore in the October-December quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal year (Q3FY25), compared to ₹135.03 crore it reported in the same period last year.
Its revenue from operations stood at ₹832.13 crore in Q3FY25, jumping 38% YoY from ₹601.61 crore in the third quarter of the last fiscal year (Q3FY24).
The PSU’s earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) surged 7% to ₹127 crore in the quarter under review as against ₹119 crore in Q3FY24. However, its EBITDA margin fell to 15.3% in Q3FY25 versus 19.8%.
As of December 2024, the government held a 74.93% stake in Bharat Dynamics.
Bharat Dynamics has a total market capitalisation of ₹48,985.58 crore as of March 26, 2025, on the NSE.
