BEML announces 1:2 stock split, share price down

BEML share price: Heavy equipment maker BEML Ltd has announced a stock split in the ratio of 1:2, the company said in an exchange filing on Monday, July 21.

The firm said its board has approved the "sub-division/ split of existing 1 (One) equity share of face value of ₹10/- (Rupees ten only) each fully paid up into 2 (two) equity shares of face value of ₹5/- (Rupees five only) each fully paid up, subject to shareholders' approval (details enclosed at Annexure-I)."

The record date for the stock split will be decided after obtaining approval for the split from the shareholders, it said.

BEML share price

Shares of BEML shares are trading 0.52% lower at ₹4,378.8 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) at 2:10 pm. Its market capitalisation stands at ₹18,241.12 crore, while the free float m-cap is ₹8,350.83 crore.

On July 18, the company, in a filing, said it has received an order valued at ₹185.65 crore from the Ministry of Defence (E-in-C) for the supply of bulldozers.

Before that, it bagged two separate export orders on July 4. "One order from the Commonwealthalth of Independent States (CIS) region, for supply of Heavy Duty Bulldozers and Second order from Uzebekistan (Maiden Order) for Supply of Highperformance Motor Grader. Total contract value of USD. 6.23 Million approximately," it said.

BEML Q4 results

BEML had recorded an 11.9% increase in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) at ₹287.55 crore for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2024-25.

The company had recorded a profit of ₹256.80 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.

The income of the mining equipment maker in the January-March period of FY25 rose to ₹1,656.36 crore as compared to ₹1,518.25 crore a year back.
