Bajaj Electricals' share price rallies over 16% after the company’s consolidated net profit jumped two-fold to ₹5,905 crore on Monday, May 12, for the March quarter of FY25.

The company had posted a net profit of 29.31 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year, according to a regulatory filing.

Its revenue from operations rose 6.5% to ₹1,265.47 crore in the March quarter compared to ₹1,188.08 crore in the year-ago period.

Bajaj Electricals' total expenses in the March quarter rose to ₹1,231.77 crore.

Following this, shares of the company were trading at ₹617.95 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, jumping 16.62%.

The firm’s revenue from Consumer Products (CP) rose 8.38% to ₹994.01 crore in the March quarter from ₹917.08 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY24.

Its Lighting Solutions marginally rose to ₹271.46 crore in the March quarter. Bajaj Electricals reported a total income of ₹1,281.65 crore in the March quarter, marking a 5.87% increase year-on-year.

For the financial year ended March 31, 2025, Bajaj Electricals' net profit declined 2% to ₹133.42 crore from ₹135.88 crore a year before.

In FY25, Bajaj Electricals' total consolidated income rose 3.2% to ₹4,883.21 crore.

Moreover, the board of the company in its meeting held on Monday approved a dividend of 150%, which is ₹3 per share of a face value of ₹2 each on equity shares for the financial year ended March 31, 2025.

Over the last five trading days, Bajaj Electricals shares soared over 11.5%, while for a month’s period, the stock gained 18.6%.

Meanwhile, since November 12, 2024, which is six months, shares of the firm have declined 27%.

The company’s market capitalisation stands at ₹6,952.83 crore.

Shares of Bajaj Electricals had touched their one-year high of ₹1,100 apiece on July 10, 2024, while their 52-week low of ₹490 was hit on April 7, 2025.
