Axis Bank releases Q4 earnings schedule, dividend likely; check Q3 financial performance

Axis Bank Q4 result schedule: Axis Bank on Thursday, April 16, released its schedule for declaration of its earnings for the fourth quarter of the 2025-26 financial year (Q4 FY26).

In a regulatory filing, the bank said that its board is scheduled to meet on Saturday, April 25, to inter alia, consider and approve the "audited standalone and consolidated financial results of the bank, for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026."

Board to consider final dividend, fundraiser

The bank's board of directors might also recommend a final dividend, if any, for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, the filing stated.

Furthermore, it said that the board of directors will also explore raising funds through the issuance of "equity shares/ depository receipts and/or any other instruments or securities representing either equity shares and/or convertible securities linked to equity shares."

This includes qualified institutions placement (QIP), American depository receipts (ADRs), global depository receipts (GDRs) program, preferential allotment or such other permissible mode or combinations thereof as may be decided, subject to shareholders' approval.

The board will also consider raising funds via the issuance of debt instruments, such as bonds and non-convertible debentures (NCDs) in Indian or foreign currency.

It further informed that "the window for trading in equity shares/securities of the Bank for Designated Persons and their immediate relatives shall remain closed from Wednesday, April 1, 2026, till Monday, April 27, 2026 (both days inclusive)."

Axis Bank Q3 snapshot

During Q3 FY26, Axis Bank reported a 3% year-on-year (YoY) jump in its net profit to ₹6,940 crore, compared to ₹6,304 crore in the same period last year, strong double-digit credit growth, and improved asset quality in the quarter. The provisions for the quarter remained elevated.

Its net-interest income (NII) surged 4% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) and 5% YoY to ₹14,287 crore during the quarter under review.

On the asset quality front, the GNPA for the quarter ended December stood at 1.40% and NNPA at 0.42%, slightly lower than 1.46% and 0.44% in the previous quarter.

Shares of Axis Bank closed 0.44% lower at ₹1,349.60 per unit on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Thursday. However, the bank announced the schedule after the market closed.

Axis Bank has a total market capitalisation of ₹4.2 lakh crore as of April 16, 2026, according to data on the NSE.
