Data show that the Radhakishan Damani-owned company's stock has risen over 3% in the past five sessions and 2% in the past month (as of Friday, March 13, morning level on the NSE).

In comparison to Avenue Supermarts' positive trend, the NIFTY50 index has fallen 1.6% over the past five sessions and over 8% in the past 30 days.

In the morning trade on Friday, shares of Avenue Supermarts were trading 0.87% higher at ₹3,988 apiece on the NSE.

Avenue Supermarts: Latest updates

Shares of the company are in the green as the retail giant has announced new store openings over the past few days.

On Thursday, March 12, Avenue Supermarts announced the opening of two new stores.

The company said that it has opened two new stores at Bavdhan, Pune (Maharashtra), and at Chilakaluripeta, Palnadu (Andhra Pradesh). The total number of stores as of the date stands at 463.

Before this, the company announced new store openings on March 6 and March 8 as well.

March 6 update

On March 6, the company said it had opened a new store at Ullal, Dakshina Kannada (Karnataka).

March 8 update

On March 8, the company said it had opened eight new stores at the following locations.

  1. Modasa, Aravalli, Gujarat

  2. Sancoale, Goa

  3. Quark City, S.A.S Nagar, Punjab

  4. Adilabad, Telangana

  5. Hubli, Dharwad, Karnataka

  6. IMT Bawal, Rewari, Haryana

  7. Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh

  8. Ajabpur, Dehradun, Uttarakhand

Avenue Supermarts Q3 FY26 earnings

Avenue Supermarts reported an 18.28% rise in consolidated net profit at ₹855.78 crore in the third quarter ended December 2025 (Q3 FY26), on the back of higher revenue.

The company registered a consolidated net profit of ₹723.54 crore in the same quarter last fiscal, Avenue Supermarts Ltd said in a regulatory filing.

Consolidated revenue from operations in the latest third quarter stood at ₹18,100.88 crore as against ₹15,972.55 crore seen in the year-ago period, it added.

Total expenses in the third quarter were higher at ₹16,942.62 crore as compared to ₹15,001.64 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.

The company said its board has approved the appointment of Anshul Asawa, presently the CEO designate, as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director for a term of three years with effect from April 1, 2026, subject to the approval of shareholders.

Asawa will succeed Ignatius Navil Noronha, who will cease to hold office as managing director & CEO from January 31, 2026, on completion of his tenure, it added.
