Shares of Aptus Value Housing Finance India Ltd gained up to 2% on Friday, September 6, after the company's board approved raising funds up to ₹100 crore via an issuance of Non-Convertible Debt (NCDs).

In a filing to the stock exchanges after market hours on Thursday, the housing finance company said that its board of directors approved a proposal for raising up to ₹100 crore through the allotment of 10,000 listed, rated, senior, secured, transferable, redeemable, NCDs.

Non-convertible debentures (NCDs) are debt instruments used by companies to raise long-term funds. They cannot be converted into other instruments, such as shares or equities.

The NCDs will have a face value of ₹1,00,000 each and will be issued through private placement basis. The company said that the tenor of the instrument is five years. The date of allotment of the NCDs is September 5 and the date of maturity is September 05, 2029. The NCDs will be allotted at an interest rate of 8.75%. The company added that principal repayments will be made to allottees on a quarterly basis.

Aptus Value Housing Finance consolidated total income increased over 28% to ₹404.62 crore in Q1FY25 compared to ₹315.37 crore in Q1FY24. The company’s total income for Q1FY25 grew over 3% from ₹391.15 crore in Q4FY24.

In the June quarter of FY25, the company’s consolidated profit-after-tax (PAT) increased nearly 21% to ₹171.74 crore compared to ₹142.25 crore in the corresponding quarter of the preceding fiscal year. Sequentially, Aptus Value Housing Finance’s profit-after-tax increased nearly 5% from ₹164.03 crore in the March quarter of FY25.

Aptus Value Housing Finance caters to the housing finance needs of customers from semi-urban and rural markets.

Shares of Aptus Value Housing Finance closed 0.82% lower at ₹325.1 apiece on the NSE on Friday.
