Antony Waste Handling Cell is one of the top five players in the Indian MSW (municipal solid waste) management industry. With an established track record of many years, it provides a full spectrum of MSW services.
The company reported marginal improvement in the sales for Q1FY25 at ₹227 crore as against ₹222 crore in the previous year's similar quarter. On the operational front the company reported operating profit of ₹49 crore as compared to ₹47 crore in Q1FY24. Lastly the net profit for the quarter declined by 10% to ₹21 crore as compared to ₹23 crore in the previous year similar period.
Following the announement shares of Antony Waste Handling Cell jumped over 7% on Monday morning at ₹761 apiece on the NSE. The shares have delivered strong 46% returns in 2024 on a YTD basis.
