Alkyl Amines, NLC India, Saregama India shares surge over 10% amid heavy volumes; check full list

SUMMARY

Shares of Alkyl Amines Chemicals jumped as much as 15.56% to hit an intraday high of ₹1,887.75 amid spike in trading activity. Trading volume jumped 32 times to 28.02 lakh shares compared with an average volume of 86,632 shares.

The SENSEX rose as much as 886 points and NIFTY50 index touched an intraday high of 23,708 after CNBC Awaaz citing Bloomberg reported that the government may reduce tax for foreign bond investors in the Indian markets.

As of 12:30 pm, the SENSEX was up 824 points at 75,437 and NIFTY50 index advanced 272 points to 23,685.

Here are stocks witnessing heavier than usual trading volumes:
Alkyl Amines Chemicals: Shares of specialty chemicals company jumped as much as 15.56% to hit an intraday high of ₹1,887.75 amid spike in trading activity.

Trading volume jumped 32 times to 28.02 lakh shares compared with an average volume of 86,632 shares.

On the BSE, as many as 2.08 lakh shares changed hands compared with an average of 8,790 shares traded daily in the past two weeks.

Saregama India: Shares of the media and entertainment company jumped as much as 10.7% to hit an intraday high of ₹370.90 amid spike in trading activity.

Trading volume on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) jumped 14 times to 56.83 lakh shares as against an average trading volume of 4.11 lakh shares.

On the BSE, as many as 2.75 lakh shares changed hands compared with an average of 17,000 shares traded daily in the past two weeks.

NLC India: Shares of the power generation company jumped as much as 18.99%, its biggest single-day move since May 11, 2021, to hit an intraday high of ₹387 on Thursday after it reported highest-ever power generation in a financial year since inception.
NLC India's net profit in January-March quarter jumped 189% to ₹1,393 crore from ₹482 crore in the same period last year.

The company's revenue from operations advanced 31% annually to ₹5,042 crore compared with ₹3,836 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Trading volume in the stock surged 11 times to 6.08 crore shares compared with an average of 55.35 lakh shares.

On the BSE, a total of 30.67 lakh shares changed hands compared with an average of 3.44 lakh shares traded daily in the past two weeks.

Kaynes Technologies: Shares of Kaynes Technology India tumbled as much as 19.44% to hit a three-month low of ₹3,366.10 apiece after its earnings for the fourth quarter of the 2025-26 financial year (Q4 FY26) failed to impress investors.
The company posted a 21.5% year-on-year (YoY) decline in its consolidated net profit to ₹91.2 crore during the quarter under review, compared to ₹116.2 crore in Q4 of the 2024-25 fiscal year (Q4 FY25).

Its revenue from operations, however, surged 26.2% YoY to ₹1,242.64 crore in the March quarter of FY26, as against ₹984.48 crore in the same period of the preceding fiscal year.

Trading volume in the stock jumped by 5.2 times to 75.94 lakh shares compared with an average volume of 14.68 lakh shares.

On the BSE, 5.7 lakh shares changed hands compared with an average of 82,000 shares traded daily in the past two weeks.

Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilisers and Chemicals: Shares of the chemical and fertilisers maker jumped as much as 6.4% to hit an intraday high of ₹521 amid high trading activity.

The stock's trading volume jumped 4.7 times to 16.52 lakh shares compared with an average volume of 3.54 lakh shares.

On the BSE, a total of 79,000 shares changed hands compared with an average of 29,000 shares traded daily in the past two weeks.
