Aegis Logistics board approves proposal for fundraising up to ₹6,000 crore; shares rally 84% YTD

Aegis Logistics share price: Shares of energy logistics company, Aegis Logistics, declined on Monday, September 28, despite its board of directors approving a proposal to raise funds up to ₹6,000 crore.

According to a regulatory filing, the company’s board of directors approved raising the funds through “any eligible instrument(s) or securities, equity shares, and /or bonds including foreign currency convertible bonds (“FCCB”)/ American Depository Receipts/ Global Depository Receipts/ debentures/ non-convertible debt instruments along with warrants/ convertible debentures/ securities and/or any other equity based instruments, debt securities, non-convertible securities, or any other securities convertible into equity shares or a combination of such securities.”

Aegis Logistics further stated that it might also raise the funds in any combination thereof (securities), in accordance with applicable law, in one or more tranches.

The company added it will raise the funds via rupee-denominated or denominated in one or more foreign currencies, securities through one or more public issue(s), preferential issue(s), private placement(s), qualified institutions placement(s) and/or any combination thereof.

The firm’s board also authorized the fund raising committee to take necessary steps for implementing the aforesaid proposal.

Aegis Logistics Q1 results

The company saw its consolidated net profit soar nearly fourfold year-on-year (YoY) to ₹484 crore in the first quarter of the 2026-27 financial year (Q1 FY27), compared with ₹131 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Its revenue from operations surged 37% YoY to ₹2,357 crore during the quarter under review, as against ₹1,719 crore in the first quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year (Q1 FY26).

Aegis Logistics stock performance

Shares of Aegis Logistics fell as much as 4.03% to hit an intraday low of ₹1,310.30 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Monday, September 28, compared with Friday’s closing price of ₹1,365.40 per unit.

At around 2:30 PM, the scrip was trading 3.65% lower at ₹1,315.60 per equity share, amid a weak market.

The stock has fallen more than 11% in the past week but gained 2% over the month. On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, it has rallied 84%.

While the shares hit a 52-week high of ₹1,528.70 per unit on September 22, 2026, they touched a year’s low of ₹576.10 apiece on March 23, 2026.
