Aditya Infotech, with an issue size of ₹1300.59 crore, attracted strong investor interest and was oversubscribed 106.23 times. It emerged as a top-performing IPO in August, with a return exceeding 80% from the issue price. The posting listing gains were amplified with 16.3% YoY revenue growth for Q1FY26, double-digit growth (46% YoY) in net profit. Aditya Infotech is known for manufacturing video security and surveillance products under its flagship brand, CP Plus, and holds over 20% of India’s video surveillance market share.
NSDL, with an issue size of ₹4,010.9 crore, continued its strong post-IPO rally, rising by 56% from the issue price. This IPO witnessed substantial demand from investors, with oversubscription of more than 41 times. As India’s largest depository, NSDL provides services in securities dematerialisation, settlement, and custody, catering to investors, brokers, and intermediaries across the capital market. In Q1FY26, the company posted a net profit of ₹90 crore, marking a 15% YoY jump. As of March 31, 2025, it had AUM of ₹511 lakh crore and managed about 87-89% of the total value of dematerialised securities in India, highlighting its dominant position in the capital market.
Sri Lotus Developers & Realty, with an issue size of ₹792.21 crore, saw exceptional investor interest, as the public issue was subscribed 69.14 times overall. The listing rode the wave of optimism surrounding mid-market real estate and rallied by 20% in a month. The company, a Mumbai-based ultra-luxury and luxury real estate developer focused on redevelopment in the western suburbs, operates through its Lotus-branded projects with a pipeline spanning both ongoing and upcoming developments. In Q1 FY26, it reported revenue from operations of ₹61.3 crore (down 49% YoY) and a profit after tax of ₹25.8 crore (down 35.8% YoY).
Highway Infrastructure, with an issue size of ₹130 crore, saw overwhelming investor interest as the public issue was subscribed over 300 times overall. The company specialises in EPC projects, toll-way collection, and real estate development. Its asset-light model has enabled above-industry EBITDA margins, and the IPO proceeds are earmarked for both project funding and working capital, setting the stage for further topline growth through FY26. It reported ₹817.83 crore in revenue from operations for Q1 FY26 (up 64% from ₹498.35 crore in Q1 FY25) and a PAT of ₹129.72 crore.
Regaal Resources IPO, an agro-processing company specialising in maize starch, speciality and food-grade starches, and starch derivatives serving diverse industries, raised ₹306 crore, which included a ₹209.9 crore fresh issue and a ₹96 crore offer-for-sale. It was subscribed to over 150 times, with strong demand from institutional investors and witnessed a 13.36% rise in return from the issue price. In FY25, RRL reported a sharp financial uptick with revenue rising 53% YoY.
Although August's IPOs saw some exceptional returns, some newly listed companies failed to deliver the expected returns. Laxmi India Finance was the biggest loser, dropping 16.28% below its offer price, driven by sectoral headwinds in the NBFC market. Gem Aromatics declined 10%, reflecting cyclical volatility in the chemicals sector, while JSW Cement showed flattish returns due to higher valuations. The August 2025 IPO market highlighted the significant opportunities that exist for high-quality, well-established companies with top performers, such as Aditya Infotech, NSDL, and Highway Infrastructure, which effectively captured investors’ sentiments.
