Adani Green Energy’s board of directors, after their quarterly meeting on Friday, April 24, announced that the company has recorded a 34% rise in its March quarter net profits to ₹514 crore in the financial year ended 2025-26, according to an exchange filing.

NSE filings showed that the company’s consolidated net profits for the fourth quarter of the previous fiscal year were at ₹383 crore.

The company’s revenue from core operations surged 14% year-on-year to ₹3,504 crore in the January to March quarter of FY2025-26, compared to ₹3,073 crore in the same period a year ago.

Segmental snapshot

Adani Green Energy’s core revenue is sourced from its main power supply business, which witnessed a healthy 16% YoY growth to ₹3,094 crore in the fourth quarter, compared to ₹2,666 crore in the same period a year ago.

Although the power supply business performed well for the fourth quarter, the company’s income from the sale of equipment and goods witnessed a 32% YoY fall to ₹234 crore, compared to ₹358 crore in the same period a year ago, according to the consolidated financial statements released on Friday.

The filings also showed that Adani Green Energy’s financing costs witnessed nearly a 19% increase in the March quarter to ₹1,626 crore, compared to ₹1,368 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.

Adani Green Energy’s Q4 results showed that the company’s earnings per share (EPS) recorded a ₹1.07 per share increase to ₹2.33 per share, compared to ₹1.26 per share levels in the same period a year ago.

Share reverse trend post Q4 earnings

Adani Green Energy shares reversed their downward intraday trend after the Q4 results announcement on Friday afternoon market hours. Shares of Adani Green jumped 2.7% to hit the day’s high of ₹1,247 per share after the earnings release.

The company's shares were trading nearly 5% lower prior to the earnings announcement.

As of 2:45 pm, Adani Green Energy shares were trading 2.35% higher at ₹1,242.75 on Friday, compared to ₹1,214.15 at the previous stock market close, according to the NSE data.

Shares of Adani Green Energy have delivered over 17% returns on their investment in five years, 39% in three years, and 27% in the last one year period, according to the exchange data.

On a year-to-date basis, the Adani Green shares have risen over 20% and more than 46% in the past one month. The company’s stock was trading 9.39% higher over the last five market sessions on Friday, April 24.
