Renewable energy company, ACME Solar Holdings, on Thursday, March 12, 2026, announced that one of its subsidiaries, named ACME Greentech Seventh Pvt Ltd, has signed two power purchase agreements with the Navratna PSU firm SJVN, according to an exchange filing.

“ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ACME Solar), through its subsidiary, ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited, has signed two Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with SJVN for a total capacity of 450 MW/1,800 MWh,” the company informed the stock exchanges.

After the markets opened on Thursday, shares of ACME Solar jumped nearly 6% to hit its intraday high level of ₹243.44, compared to ₹230.24 at the previous market close, NSE data showed.

Power deal with SJVN – Details

ACME Solar’s total 450 megawatt (MW) deal through its subsidiary has been signed for a 25-year tenure on March 2, 2026, according to the exchange filing. The order was issued after an auction round on October 9, 2025, under the tariff-based competitive bidding guidelines.

The NSE filing also showed that the projects will be connected with the Interstate Transmission System (ISTS) substations so that the power supply is available with ACME Solar at high irradiation zones in Rajasthan.

“Under the PPAs, ACME Solar will supply 4 hours of assured peak power supply during non-solar hours with 90% availability on monthly and annual basis,” the company said.

The company also signed a 1,690 MW power deal in the financial year 2025-26, bringing the total power purchase agreements to an order book capacity of 6,270 MW, as per the filing.

ACME Solar share price trend

ACME Solar shares closed 4.41% higher at ₹240.40 after Thursday’s stock market session, compared to ₹230.24 at the previous market close, according to the NSE data. The company announced its power deal update prior to the market hours on March 12.

Shares of ACME Solar have given stock market investors more than 21.57% in the last one-year period, and over 0.91% on a year-to-date (YTD) basis, NSE data showed. The company’s stock has risen more than 7% in one month, and is trading at 3.79% in the last five stock market sessions.

The renewable energy stock hit its 52-week high at ₹324.30 on September 15, 2025, while the 52-week low level was at ₹172.63 on April 7, 2025, according to the exchange data. ACME Solar’s market capitalisation (M-Cap) was at ₹14,567.56 crore as of the market close on Thursday, March 12, 2026.
