ACME Solar shares surged as much as 4% to their 52-week high level of ₹396.25 apiece on Wednesday, July 1, as the company said it has commissioned a new BESS project in Rajasthan.
In a regulatory filing, the company said that, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Suryodaya, it has commissioned a 240.720 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Rajasthan. The project is located at Village Sanwara and Mehar Nagar in Tehsil Pokhran, Jaisalmer district, and was commissioned on June 30, 2026.
The company added that the project is scheduled to achieve its commercial operation date (COD) on July 2, 2026. With this, ACME Suryodaya’s total commissioned capacity stands at 285 MW / 842.624 MWh.
On April 13, 2026, ACME Suryodaya commissioned the sixth phase of its BESS project, with a capacity of 38 MW / 80.252 MWh.
Last month, ACME Solar Holdings, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Sun Power Private Limited, had commissioned a 33.331 MW/120.384 MWh BESS project in Rajasthan. The project is located at Village Badi Sid, Tehsil Bap, across the Phalodi and Jodhpur districts.
It was commissioned on June 12, 2026, and is scheduled to achieve its commercial operation date on June 14, 2026.

ACME Solar Holdings posted a 13.3% on-year rise in net profit to ₹138 crore in the March quarter, supported by higher revenues. The company had a net profit of ₹122 crore in the quarter ended on March 31, 2025.
Total revenue of the company rose to ₹705 crore in the reported quarter from ₹539 crore in the period a year ago.
In the fiscal 2025-26, the net profit increased to ₹498 crore from ₹251 crore in the previous year. Total revenues in the fiscal year also increased to ₹2,507 crore from ₹1,575 crore in the year ago.
In Q4, the company won new projects worth 301 MW FDRE (firm and dispatchable renewable energy) with SECI, taking the total under-construction capacity to 5,081 MW.
It has a total portfolio of 8,071 MW, including 17 GWh of BESS (battery energy storage solutions) installation, with 6,270 MW PPA (power purchase agreement) signed, it stated.
It stated that 6,464 million units (MUs) were generated in FY26, up 61.1% from FY25, driven by a higher capacity utilisation factor (CUF) and new capacity addition. As many as 1,720 million units (MUs) were generated in Q4 FY26, up 13.7% from Q4 FY25. The CUF stood at 26.9% in Q4 FY25 and 25.9% in FY26.
From the beginning of the year, ACME Solar shares have rallied over 63.5%. Over a month’s time, the stock has surged 27%.
At 12:56 PM, ACME Solar shares were trading at ₹389.30 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, rising 2.3%.
ACME Solar has a total market capitalisation of ₹27,497.41 crore as of July 1, 2026, according to data on the NSE.
