ACME Solar Holdings share price: Shares of ACME Solar Holdings bucked the broader market trend on Thursday, March 19, as the stock rallied as much as 9.43% to ₹272.15 apiece in the intraday session.

The benchmark indices, SENSEX and NSE's NIFTY50, on the other hand, were trading around 2% lower amid weak global cues and concerns following the sudden resignation of HDFC Bank's part-time chairman, Atanu Chakraborty, citing 'ethical concerns'.

ACME Solar: Latest updates

On Tuesday, March 17, ACME Solar Holdings said in its exchange filing that ACME Eco Clean Energy, a subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Limited, has commissioned an additional 8 MW out of a 100 MW wind power project at Village: Titoda, Taluka: Sayla, Dist: Surendranagar, Gujarat.

The commissioning has been witnessed and confirmed by Gujarat Energy Development Agency (“GEDA”) and Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (“PGVCL”) officials, and the formal certificate is expected to be issued shortly. With this, ACME Eco Clean Energy has achieved a commissioned capacity of 84 MW out of 100 MW.

March 13

On March 13, the company said that ACME Solar Holdings, through its various subsidiaries, has commissioned 142.67 MW / 481.49 MWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in phase 1 out of its total planned BESS capacity of 585 MW / 2011.24 MWh under these SPVs. Overall, the company’s current portfolio requires the installation of nearly 17 GWh of BESS in multiple phases across different states.

March 12

On March 12, ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ACME Solar), through its subsidiary, ACME Greentech Seventh, signed two Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with SJVN for a total capacity of 450 MW/1,800 MWh. The PPAs have been signed for a tenor of 25 years on 2 March 2026.

The tender (Tranche-FDRE-4) was issued under Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) guidelines, for which an e-reverse auction was held on October 9, 2025, and a Letter of Award (LOA) was received on November 10, 2025.
