The basis of allotment of Vishal Nirmiti, a civil engineering, manufacturing and construction company, is expected to be finalised on Tuesday, October 6. The bid finalisation details will be available on the websites of the NSE, the BSE and MUFG Intime India.

The issue was subscribed 1.71 times, as it received bids for 1,44,46,804 shares compared to 84,71,153 shares on offer, according to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) data.

The non-institutional investors' (NIIs) quota was subscribed 1.81 times, while the retail individual investors' part was booked 1.67 times. The qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) category was subscribed 1.27 times.

The ₹178 crore initial public offering comprised a fresh issue of 65.91 lakh shares aggregating to ₹145 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of 15 lakh shares valued at ₹33 crore by promoter Vaman Prestressing Company.

The objectives of the issue include funding working capital needs, loan repayments and general corporate purposes.

"Our company believes that listing will enhance our company’s corporate image, brand name and create a public market for its equity shares in India. It will also make future financing easier and affordable in case of expansion or diversification of the business," the firm said.

Vishal Nirmiti makes and deals in pre-stressed concrete (PSC) sleepers for railway, pre-cast and pre-stressed concrete products. It is also involved in the fabrication of mild steel (MS) pipes, MS liners and pre-stressed pipes for pumped storage projects.

Additionally, the firm provides engineering, procurement, infrastructure and construction services for railway infrastructure and various civil engineering, irrigation and infrastructure projects.
