The initial public offering was subscribed 1.58 times, as it secured bids for 5,34,85,863 shares compared to 3,39,02,899 shares on offer, according to the NSE data.

Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) subscribed their portion 3.16 times, while retail individual investors' (RIIs) portion was booked 1.00 times. The non-institutional investors' quota fetched 92% subscription.

The ₹708.02 crore IPO comprised a fresh issue of shares aggregating up to ₹320 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) component of 2.62 crore shares totalling ₹388.02 crore by investor Katsura Investments.

The funds will be directed to repay its borrowings and dues of its subsidiaries – Varmora Sanitarywares, Simola Tiles and Covertek Ceramica. The company will also use it for general corporate purposes.

Varmora Granito offers a wide range of ceramic and vitrified tiles, including glazed vitrified, polished vitrified and ceramic tiles. It has a wide distribution metwork consisting 305 exclusive brand outlets and over 2,750 multi-brand outlets across India and overseas.
