Urban Company share price: Shares of Urban Company (formerly UrbanClap), which allows customers to easily order services using its application, made a robust debut on the stock exchanges on Wednesday, September 17.

The stock listed at ₹162.25 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), reflecting a premium of 57.52% over the issue price of ₹103 per share.

On the BSE, it started trading at ₹161, up 56.31% from the issue price.

A lot consisted of 145 shares. Investors who secured Urban Company IPO allotment made ₹23,526.25 per lot.

The ₹1,900 crore Urban Company IPO was a mix of fresh shares totalling ₹472 crore and an offer for sale of ₹1,428 crore.

Elevation Capital V Ltd, Accel India IV (Mauritius) Ltd, Internet Fund V Pte Ltd, Bessemer India Capital Holdings II Ltd, and VYC11 Ltd sold their stake under the OFS route.

The fresh issue proceeds will be used for rent payment of its offices, marketing activities, new technology development and cloud infrastructure and general corporate purposes.

Urban Company IPO: Here's how the issue performed during the subscription phase

During the three-day subscription window, the IPO received bids for 11,06,46,08,960 shares as against 106,773,244 shares on offer, leading to a 103.63 times subscription.

Qualified institutional buyers applied for 8,14,38,50,760 equity shares compared to 5,80,86,735 shares reserved for the category, translating to a 140.20 times subscription.

The non-institutional investors, or NIIs, quota was subscribed 74.04 times, as they placed applications for 2,15,04,68,755 shares against 2,90,43,367 shares set aside for them.

The retail investors' quota, which was subscribed 39.25 times, got bids for 75,99,54,860 equity shares compared to 1,93,62,244 shares on offer.

Urban Company, a technology-driven, full-stack online marketplace, allows consumers to order services, including pest control, electrical work, cleaning, plumbing, appliance servicing and repair, carpentry, painting, hair grooming, skincare and massage therapy.
