Truhome Finance IPO: Private equity major Warburg Pincus-backed Truhome Finance Ltd, formerly known as Shriram Housing Finance, has filed a draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with markets regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to raise ₹3,000 crore via an initial public offering.

The proposed initial share sale is a mix of new equity shares valued at ₹1,500 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) component of ₹1,500 crore by promoter Mango Crest Investment Ltd.

The fresh issue proceeds will be utilised to augment the capital base of the company to meet future capital needs, including onwards lending arising out of the growth of our business.

"In addition, our company expects to receive the benefits of listing of the equity shares on the stock exchanges, including enhancement of our company’s brand name and creation of a public market for our equity shares in India," the preliminary papers said.

IIFL Capital Services, Jefferies India, Kotak Mahindra Capital and JM Financial are the issue's book-running lead managers, while KFin Technologies is the registrar.

The company's shares will be listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE.
