Krishna Buildspace IPO: Construction company Krishna Buildspace has filed preliminary papers with the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), to raise funds through an initial public offering.

The proposed initial public offering will be a mix of fresh issuance of 90,00,000 shares and an offer for sale (OFS) component of 9,00,000 shares by promoters Mohanbhai Chanabhai Sorathiya and Jayantibhai Chanabhai Sorathiya, according to the draft red herring prospectus (DRHP).

The company will utilise the net proceeds towards funding the working capital requirements of the company, capital expenditure needs for the purchase of equipment and machinery and general corporate purposes.

"In addition, we expect to achieve the benefit of listing of our equity shares on the stock exchanges and enhancement of our company’s visibility and brand image and creation of a public market for our equity shares in India," the company said in its DRHP.

Mefcom Capital Markets Ltd is the issue's book-running lead manager, while MUFG Intime India is the registrar.

The company's shares will be listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the BSE (formerly the Bombay Stock Exchange).

Krishna Buildspace has built comprehensive in-house capabilities spanning design and architecture, pre-construction planning, project management, engineering, execution, and allied services. The firm executes end-to-end projects through an integrated in-house model, providing clients with a one-point interface for seamless execution.

Its operations span across multiple sectors. The residential development portfolio includes the design and construction of residential towers, working women's hostels and RCC framework-structured buildings. The commercial projects include the construction of administration buildings, welfare centres, shops and mixed-use developments. It also undertakes the construction and renovation activities of existing infrastructure units and industrial plants, offering robust civil, structural and utility-integration solutions.

Krishna Buildspace's revenue from operations surged to ₹183.28 crore in fiscal 2025 from ₹164.76 crore in FY23 at a revenue compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.47%. Its profit after tax climbed to ₹15.10 crore in fiscal 2025 from ₹7.49 crore in fiscal 2023, reflecting a CAGR of 41.95%.
