Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing IPO: The initial share sale of critical components maker Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing was oversubscribed within hours on opening day.
The issue was subscribed 1.26 times, receiving bids for 59,26,271 shares against 47,04,028 shares on offer.
The retail investors' portion fetched 1.92 times the subscription as they bid for 45.10 lakh shares against 23.41 lakh shares on offer. The non-institutional investors' quota attracted 1.35 times subscription. They placed bids for 13.52 lakh shares against 10.03 lakh shares offered.
The employees' part was subscribed 3.08 times as bids were received for 61,959 shares against 20,134 reserved shares.
The ₹500 crore IPO is a fresh issue of ₹250 crore and an offer-for-sale of ₹250 crore. The money raised will be utilised to purchase equipment and machinery, meet working capital requirements, investment in subsidiaries and corporate general purposes.
To purchase one lot, which consists of 19 shares, retail investors need to spend ₹14,915.
The price range was set at ₹745 to ₹785 per share.
Anand Rathi Securities Ltd and Equirus Capital Pvt Ltd are the issue's book-running lead managers, while Kfin Technologies is the registrar.
Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing produces key components used in the defence, semiconductor, energy, and aerospace industries. It makes essential parts like aero tooling, electromechanical sub-assemblies and ground support equipment.
Between 2022 and 2024, they manufactured 2,356 stock-keeping units (SKUs) in the tooling and precision complex sub-assemblies category. It also produced 624 SKUs in the precision machined parts category.
As of March 2024, Unimech Aerospace had 384 employees.
