TruAlt Bioenergy IPO allotment: The basis of allotment of biofuels producer TruAlt Bioenergy Ltd is expected to be finalised on Tuesday, September 30, and the details will be out on the websites of the registrar Bigshare Services, the NSE and the BSE.

The ₹839.28 crore initial public offering received bids for 88,85,66,820 shares, which translates to 71.92 times subscription as against 1,23,55,424 shares on offer, according to the cumulative data on the BSE website.

The initial share sale consisted of new equity shares aggregating to ₹750 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) component of shares valued at ₹89.28 crore by promoters Dhraksayani Sangamesh Nirani and Sangamesh Rudrappa Nirani. It had a price band of ₹472 to ₹496 per share.

The fresh issue proceeds will be used to set up multi-feed stock operations, general corporate purposes and debt clearance.

TruAlt Bioenergy is one of India's leading biofuel producers and is primarily engaged in the production of ethanol. The Bengaluru-based company is diversifying into new areas such as second-generation (2G) ethanol and utilising surplus bagasse, a by-product of sugar production, as a raw material.
