More than 45 mainboard IPOs have launched in 2025, with Prostarm Info Systems, Quality Power, and other market debutants leading the charge with impressive returns. The year started on a slow note, but the last one and a half months alone have seen 18 public issues hitting the secondary market, in addition to four more offers opening next week.
Prostarm Info Systems and Quality Power Electrical Equipments are the top IPOs of 2025, giving the highest returns in relation to their IPO issue prices. They are followed by Highway Infrastructure, Aditya Infotech, National Securities Depository Ltd (NSDL) and Belrise Industries.
As of August 13's closing, it has gained 101.2% from the issue price.
The ₹168 crore initial share sale, which was a mix of fresh issuance of shares and offer for sale (OFS) component, was subscribed 97.2 times.
The company had posted a 10.9% decline in its consolidated profit after tax to ₹6.78 crore in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2024-25, compared to ₹7.61 crore in the third quarter of FY25. However, its revenue from operations rose 6.62% quarter-on-quarter to ₹82.27 crore.
Prostarm Info Systems is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of energy storage systems and power conditioning equipment like inverters, UPS systems, voltage stabilisers and lithium-ion battery packs.
The ₹858.70 crore initial public offer was a combination of a fresh issue component and OFS. It had secured a total subscription of 1.29 times during the three-day bidding period.
The firm is engaged in offering high-voltage electrical solutions. In the three-month period ended June 2025, it had posted a 22.85% fall in its net profit to ₹24.14 crore vs ₹31.29 crore a year back. Its revenue climbed 187.7% YoY to ₹176.71 crore.
Shares of Highway Infrastructure hit the 5% upper circuit on Wednesday to trade at ₹126.78 apiece. The stock had soared 72.5% to ₹120.75 on the listing day on Tuesday, after debuting at a 67.14% premium from the issue price of ₹70.
The scrip has advanced 81.1% from the issue price.
The company's market valuation stood at ₹909.27 crore.
The initial public offer garnered a whopping 300.61 times subscription. The issue consisted of a fresh issuance of ₹97.52 crore and an OFS of ₹32.48 crore.
Incorporated in 1995, the company is involved in toll-way collection, EPC projects, and real estate development.
The stock settled at ₹1,066.60 apiece on the NSE, which is 58% higher than the issue price.
The ₹1,300 crore issue attracted a 100.69 times subscription. The initial share sale was a mix of new shares valued at ₹500 crore and an OFS of ₹800 crore.
Aditya Infotech offers advanced video security and surveillance products and solutions, serving sectors like banking, insurance, healthcare, real estate, industrial, education, manufacturing, defence, law enforcement, hospitality, and retail.
The scrip had started trading at ₹880 on August 6, which is 10% higher from the issue price of ₹800.
At the market price of ₹1,206, it is up 50.75% from the issue price.
In the same quarter a year back, the depository had posted a profit of ₹66.6 crore.
Total income advanced 21.68% to ₹190.4 crore in the reporting quarter vs ₹156.5 crore in April-June FY25.
The ₹4,011.60 crore IPO, which received 41.01 times subscription, was only an OFS of over 5 crore shares.
Shares of automotive components manufacturer Belrise Industries are up 50% to ₹136.17 compared to the issue price of ₹90 per unit.
The stock had debuted at ₹100 per share, a premium of 11.11%.
The company had posted a 56% increase in its consolidated net profit to ₹111.68 crore in the first quarter of FY26 as against ₹71.55 crore in the same period of the previous year.
Its revenue from operations rose 27% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹2,262.2 crore.
The ₹2,150 crore IPO was exclusively a fresh issuance of 23.89 crore shares. It was subscribed 41.30 times.
