The initial public offering was subscribed a whopping 135.90 times, as it received bids for 1,15,87,19,247 shares compared to 85,26,033 shares on offer, according to the NSE data.

Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) led the bidding as they subscribed their part 293.56 times. The non-institutional investors' quota was booked 170.94 times. The retail quota attracted 31.07 times subscription.

The issue comprised an offer-for-sale (OFS) of 1.22 crore shares worth ₹852.18 crore by promoters and existing shareholders, with no fresh issue component.

Since the IPO was solely an OFS, the firm will not receive any proceeds from the issue.

"Our company expects that the proposed listing of its equity shares will enhance our visibility and brand image and provide liquidity to its existing shareholders. Listing will also provide a public market for the equity shares in India," the firm said in its red herring prospectus.

Tonbo Imaging designs and makes sensing, processing, communication and guidance systems utilised in surveillance, reconnaissance, targeting and control applications. Its products include weapon sights, targeting systems, thermal imaging cores, missile seekers, fire control systems and missile guidance systems.
