The initial share sale of temperature sensing and heating solutions provider Tempsens Instruments (India) Ltd has been subscribed 48.37 times so far on the third day of the bidding on Monday, August 24.

The ₹650 crore initial public offering (IPO) received bids for 73,43,45,800 shares against 1,51,81,667 shares on offer, as per details available on the NSE website until 11:27 am.

The quota for non-institutional investors was subscribed 147.44 times, while the category for retail investors attracted 31.47 times subscription. The qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) portion received 3.54 times subscription.

With a price band of ₹285 to ₹300 per share, a lot consists of 50 shares.

The IPO consisted of a fresh issue of shares aggregating up to ₹95 crore and an offer-for-sale component of ₹555 crore.

The Udaipur-based company intends to use the proceeds for capital expenditure in electrical heating and specialised cable solutions, repayment of debt, and corporate general purposes.

Incorporated in 1990, Tempsens makes a wide range of contact and non-contact temperature sensors and offers tailored solutions across industrial applications.

It has served over 1,000 unique customers. It also exports its products to more than 80 nations, including the United Arab Emirates, Germany and Poland.

Tempsens Instruments India IPO: Allotment and listing date

The basis of allotment of Tempsens Instruments India is expected to be finalised on Tuesday, August 25. The shares are proposed to be listed on the NSE and the BSE on August 28.
