The initial public offering was subscribed 31.33 times, with bids for 79,35,60,351 shares compared to 2,53,28,946 shares on offer, according to the BSE data.

The part reserved for non-institutional investors received 62.35 times subscription. The quota for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) was booked 43.58 times, and the retail investors' portion received 11.04 times subscription.

The ₹550 crore initial share sale was a combination of a fresh issuance of ₹450 crore and an offer for sale of ₹100 crore by existing investors.

Under the OFS, Sanjay Hiralal Patel, Imran Jafar, Ranjit Jayant Shah jointly held with Mona Ranjit Shah, Sudesh Jain jointly held with Gopal Jain, Sushane Chopra, Abhinav Jain, Anshuman Goyal and Suparna Kumar divested their stake.

Proceeds from the fresh issue will be allocated for debt clearance, seeding new funds and corporate general purposes.

Gaja Capital, founded in 2004, is a private equity and alternative asset management company, operating under the Gaja Capital brand. It focuses on providing growth capital to entrepreneurs. It has invested across sectors like education, financial services and consumer.

Its investment portfolio includes companies such as TeamLease, RBL Bank, John Distilleries, Lighthouse Learning, Xpressbees, Educational Initiatives, LeadSquared and Signzy.
