Studds Accessories share price: Shares of helmet maker Studds Accessories made a weak debut on the stock exchanges on Friday, November 7.

The stock started trading at ₹565 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). This reflects a discount of 3.42% against the IPO issue price of ₹585 per share.

On the BSE, the scrip listed at ₹570 per share, down 2.56% from the issue price.

Studds Accessories IPO: Here's how much investors lost

A lot consisted of 25 shares. Investors who received Studds Accessories IPO allotment saw valued of their investment drop to ₹14,125 per lot.

The ₹455.49 crore initial share sale was completely an offer for sale of 7,786,120 equity shares by promoters and shareholders. The price range was set at ₹557 to ₹585 per share.

Under the OFS, promoters Madhu Bhushan Khurana, Chand Khurana and Sidhartha Bhushan Khurana will offload their shares. Investors such as Sanjay Leekha, Sanjay Leekha jointly with Charu Leekha, Charu Leekha, Nisha Leekha, Nain Tara Mehta, Sunil Kumar Rastogi, Ajay Kumar Sakhuja and SE Shoes Private Limited would also divest their stakes.

The initial public offering was subscribed 73.25 times, with bids for 39,92,36,150 equity shares as against 54,50,284 shares on offer, according to the NSE data.

Studds Accessories, incorporated in 1983, designs, manufactures, and sells two-wheeler helmets and motorcycle accessories. It is among the largest 2-wheeler helmet manufacturers by revenue in the financial year 2023-24 in India and also the world’s largest by volume in CY24.

It operates three manufacturing units with a combined annualised production capacity of 90.4 lakh units. It sold around 74 lakh units in FY25.

In the first quarter of FY26, helmet sales contributed 92.81% of operational revenue, while accessories sales resulted in 6.98% of the revenue. In FY25, helmets fetched ₹539.621 crore (92.43% of revenue), and accessories accounted for ₹42.55 crore (7.29%). Studds Accessories holds a 27.3% market share by volume and 25.5% by value in FY24.
