Steamhouse India's ₹414-crore initial public offering has been subscribed 8.08 times so far on the final day of bidding on Friday, September 11.

It mobilised bids for 30,39,51,485 shares against 3,76,36,363 shares on offer, according to the NSE data until 12:50 pm.

The initial share sale is seeking to raise ₹414 crore through a fresh issue of shares aggregating up to ₹353 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) portion totalling ₹61 crore by promoter Vishal Sanwarraprasad Budhia.

The net proceeds from the fresh issue will be used for the following objectives:

  • Repayment of certain outstanding borrowings availed by the company
  • Funding capital expenditure needs for augmenting infrastructure development towards (i) capacity expansion of the Ankleshwar plant (Phase 3) and (ii) capacity expansion of the Panoli Facility (Phase 2)
  • Funding capital expenditure in relation to establishing a new manufacturing unit for generation of steam in Dahej GIDC (Phase 2)
  • General corporate purposes

Established in 2014, Steamhouse India Ltd supplies industrial steam to its clients through a centralised utility model using a dedicated pipeline network. The firm serves industrial customers across sectors including textiles, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food processing, paper and manufacturing.

Steamhouse IPO: Allotment and listing date

Steamhouse IPO allotment is expected to be finalised on Tuesday, September 15. Shares of the company will debut on the stock exchanges on September 17.
