Shares of e-commerce enablement platform Shiprocket Ltd made a robust debut on the stock exchanges on Wednesday, August 19.

The stock started trading at ₹131 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), reflecting a premium of 35.05% over the IPO issue price of ₹97 per share.

On the BSE, it is listed at ₹129.50 per share, up 33.51% from the issue price.

Shiprocket share price: Here's how much investors made per lot

A lot consisted of 154 shares and cost ₹14,938. Investors who received the Shiprocket IPO allotment made ₹20,174 per lot, taking the value of their investment to ₹5,236, as per the listing price on the NSE.

The ₹1,617.48 crore initial public offering consisted of new equity shares valued at ₹885.50 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of ₹731.98 crore.

The company intends to use IPO proceeds to invest in marketing initiatives and strengthen technology infrastructure. The money raised will also be used to clear debt, pursue potential acquisitions and for corporate general purposes.

The initial share sale was subscribed 99.38 times, as it got bids for 9,38,52,82,214 equity shares against 9,44,36,030 shares on offer, as per the NSE data.

The quota for qualified institutional buyers was subscribed 122.80 times, while the portion for non-institutional investors attracted 88.99 times subscription. Retail individual investors' part received 46.42 times subscription.

Before the IPO, the Gurugram-based firm mobilised ₹727.41 crore from anchor investors, including Nomura, Goldman Sachs, Ashoka WhiteOak, Societe Generale, SBI Mutual Fund, Nippon Life India, Kotak Mahindra AMC, HDFC AMC, UTI AMC, Mirae Asset, PGIM India, Bandhan Mutual Fund, Edelweiss, Tata AIA Life, Edelweiss Life and Axis Max Life, among others.
