Shares of leading furniture rental platform Rentomojo made a strong debut on the stock exchanges on Thursday, September 17, 2026.

The stock started trading at ₹482.45 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). This reflects a premium of 19.42% over the issue price of ₹404 per share.

On the BSE, the scrip is listed at ₹480 per share, up 18.81% from the IPO price.

Rentomojo share price: Here's how much investors made per lot

A lot consisted of 37 shares and cost ₹14,948. Investors who received the Rentomojo IPO allotment made ₹2,902.65 per lot, taking the value of their investment to ₹17,850.65, as per the listing price on the NSE.

The ₹1,255.57 crore book-built issue consisted of new equity shares worth ₹150 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) component of ₹1,105.57 crore by existing shareholders.

The funds generated will be utilised for repayment of debt, lease rental/license fees for warehouses and experience stores and corporate general purposes.

"Our company expects to receive the benefits of listing of the equity shares on the stock exchanges, including the enhancement of our visibility and brand image among our existing and potential customers and creation of a public market for our equity shares in India," the company said in its red herring prospectus.

The initial public offering was subscribed 72.88 times, as it got bids for 1,58,68,10,712 shares against 2,17,72,311 shares on offer, as per the NSE data.

The quota for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) secured 177.29 times subscription, while the portion for non-institutional investors (NIIs) was booked 67.93 times and that of retail investors 15.59 times.

Prior to the IPO, the company collected ₹376.07 crore in the anchor round from investors, including Theleme Partners, BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, HDFC AMC, Kotak Mahindra AMC, ICICI Prudential AMC, Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC, Mirae Asset, HSBC Mutual Fund, Edelweiss, Motilal Oswal AMC, ICICI Prudential Life, Invesco, Aditya Birla Sun Life, HDFC Standard Life, Bajaj Life and Edelweiss Life.
