Regaal Resources share price: Shares of leading agro-processing company Regaal Resources made a strong debut on the stock exchanges on Wednesday, August 20.

On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the stock started trading at ₹141. This reflects a premium of 38.24% above the issue price of ₹102 per share.

It started trading at ₹141.8, up 39.02% on the BSE (formerly Bombay Stock Exchange).

A lot consisted of 144 shares. Investors who received the Regaal Resources IPO allotment made ₹20,304 per lot.

The initial public offering was booked 159.88 times, securing bids for 3,35,73,74,544 shares as against 2,09,99,664 shares on offer, according to the consolidated data on the BSE website.

The portion kept aside for non-institutional investors (NIIs) was subscribed 356.73 times, while the part for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) got booked 190.97 times. The retail investors' quota secured 57.75 times subscription.

The money generated will be utilised to clear outstanding borrowing and serve general corporate purposes.

Prior to the IPO, the firm had collected ₹91.79 crore from anchor investors such as Taurus Mutual Fund, Meru Investment Fund PCC-Cell 1, Benami Capital, VPK Global Ventures Fund, Authum Investment and Infrastructure Fund, Sunrise Investment Opportunities Fund, and Holani Venture Capital Fund.

Regaal Resources is into the manufacturing of maize-based products, running one of the latest maize wet milling plants with installed crushing capacity of 750 tonnes per day. Its products are sold domestically as well as in export markets like Bangladesh and Nepal.

Pantomath Capital Advisors Pvt Ltd and Sumedha Fiscal Services were the issue's merchant bankers, while MUFG Intime India was the registrar.
