The initial public offering (IPO) of Priority Jewels witnessed a good demand on the first day of subscription, with a total booking of 1.98 times on Friday, August 28.

Until 5 PM, the initial share sale of the jewellery firm had received bids for 61,76,325 shares as compared to 32,02,500 shares on offer, as per exchange data.

The non-institutional investor (NII) category was subscribed 1.24 times, while the retail individual investor (RII) segment saw 3.07 times subscription. However, the Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) portion was booked 0.44 times.

The IPO is a complete fresh issue of over 45 lakh shares worth ₹92 crore, with price band set between ₹190 and ₹200 per share.

This is a book-building issue, comprising a fresh issue of ₹92 crore. Priority Jewels IPO listing price will be determined on September 4, 2026. The listing price is the price at which a company’s shares debut on the stock exchanges.

The minimum lot size for an application is 75 shares, and the investor would have to apply for a minimum of 1 lot.

Priority Jewels IPO Objective

The money raised from the IPO will be used towards the following objectives:

Repayment of borrowings (81.9%): The company will use ₹75 crore for repayment of certain outstanding borrowings availed by the company. 
General corporate purposes (18.1%): Part of the IPO proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes and issue expenses.

About the company

The company is involved in the designs, manufacture, and sells of lightweight, economical, diamond-embedded gold and platinum jewellery. It is mainly engaged in B2B operations that sell to independent jewellery retailers as well as organised jewellery chains in India and some select overseas markets.

The firm makes money through the sale of ready-made jewellery, diamonds, and other gemstones to B2B customers.

Priority Jewels’ main clientele includes CaratLane, Kalyan Jewellers, Reliance Retail, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri and Senco Gold. The manufacturing operations of the company extend to cover all activities from design conception and rapid prototyping to casting, stone setting, polishing, rhodium plating and quality inspection.

In FY26, revenue from the sale of goods was ₹513.14 crore, which formed 95.21% of revenue from operations, and job work charges were ₹16.15 crore. In Q1FY27, sales revenue formed 96.30% of revenue from operations.

In Q1FY27, the company sold 42,672 units of jewellery, with 41.97% and 30.80% being earrings and rings, respectively. As of June 30, 2026, the company had more than 200 customers, including 125 independent jewellers and 53 jewellery chains.
